The Pet Files FAQ

Quick answers about pet records, the Care Card, the free version, the one-time full unlock, and compatible devices.

Using The Pet Files

What can I keep in a pet file?

A profile, Case Files, health and immunization records, care routines, stories, and a sitter-ready Care Card.

What is the Care Card?

It is a single confidential summary for a sitter or caregiver. Feeding, health, and care details from your Case Files fill it automatically, and you can edit it before printing or sharing.

Is The Pet Files a veterinary tool?

No. It is an organizer. Immunization suggestions and breed notes are general prompts, not medical advice; always follow your veterinarian's guidance.

Can I back up my records?

Yes. Export your records to a backup file and import it later on the same device or a new one. You decide where that file is kept.

Free and full versions

What is included free?

One complete pet file with profile details, Case Files, health and immunization records, and the full Care Card, including printing. There is no time limit and no advertising.

What does the full-version unlock add?

One purchase adds unlimited pet files, the photo gallery, Care Card PDF download and sharing, and custom colors and textures.

How do I unlock the full version?

Choose Unlock Full Version inside the app, review the price shown by Apple or Google, and confirm the one-time purchase through your store account.

Can I restore the full version?

Yes. Use the restore-purchases option on another compatible device signed into the same Apple or Google store account.

Devices and privacy

Which devices can run The Pet Files?

The Pet Files is for compatible iPhone, iPad, and Android phones and tablets. The App Store or Google Play listing shows the exact operating-system requirement for your device.

Does it work without an internet connection?

Yes. Normal use works offline, and the app makes no internet calls.

Where are my pet records and photos stored?

On your device. The app has no account, and K&K FunTimes never receives your profiles, records, photos, or Care Cards.

What happens if I save a backup to cloud storage?

That file is handled by the storage account you chose, such as iCloud Drive or Google Drive. The Pet Files and K&K FunTimes do not receive a copy.
