What's inside a pet file

Profile

The subject at a glance: name, type of animal, breed, date of birth and current age, how they joined the family, special features, and a short line about who they are.

Case Files

Log the moments as they happen and sort them by category — funny stories, adventures, feeding schedule, care routine notes, health info, and anything else.

Gallery

A photo grid arranged by the date each picture was taken, with optional captions. Photos live in the app on your phone and are never uploaded.

Care Card

The page you hand a sitter: feeding, watering, hygiene, treats, playtime, medications, vet and emergency contacts, how they get along with others, and quirks worth knowing.

A first look

Real screens from the finished app: the pet profile, Case Files, photo Gallery, sitter-ready Care Card, and the optional one-time full unlock.

Full version

Free — one complete pet file

One full pet file, free

Profile, case file entries, health records and immunizations, and the whole Care Card — entered, edited and printed — for one pet, with no time limit.

Health that keeps up

Track immunizations and treatments with suggestions for the animal you keep — dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, reptiles and fish — plus notes on common breed traits.

Yours to keep

Export everything to a backup file whenever you like, and import it back on the same phone or a new one. Where that file goes is entirely up to you.

Full version — one-time unlock

Every pet in the family

The free version covers one pet. The full version opens unlimited files, so everyone who joins the household gets their own.

Photos and PDF sharing

Unlock the photo gallery, and download or send the Care Card as a PDF — handy when a sitter, a family member, or the vet needs a copy.

Make it yours

Custom background colors and textures, light or dark. One purchase, no subscription — and it can be restored on your other devices.

The one-time price appears on the App Store and Google Play listing for your country, because store pricing varies by currency. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple or Google — we never see your payment details.

The Pet Files questions

Is The Pet Files free?

Yes. One pet's complete file — profile, case files, health records, immunizations and the Care Card, including printing — is free with no time limit and no ads. A single purchase unlocks the full version: unlimited pets, the photo gallery, Care Card download and sharing, and custom colors and textures. There is no subscription.

What does it cost?

The price is set on the App Store and Google Play and shown on the listing for your country and currency, so we don't print a figure here. It is a one-time purchase, and you can restore it on your other devices.

Where does my pet's information go?

Nowhere. Every profile, case file entry, photo and Care Card is stored on your own device. The app makes no internet calls during normal use, there is no account, and nothing is sent to us or to anyone else.

What is the Care Card?

A single confidential sheet for whoever is looking after your pet. Feeding, health and care notes you add in your Case Files fill it in automatically, and you can edit anything before you print it or — in the full version — save and send it as a PDF.

Can I back up or move my records?

Yes. You can export everything to a file and import it again later. If you choose to keep that file in iCloud Drive, Google Drive or anywhere else, that's your own account handling it — we never receive a copy.

Is it a veterinary tool?

No. It's an organizer. Immunization suggestions and breed notes are general prompts to help you keep records, not medical advice. Always follow your veterinarian's guidance.

When is it coming out?

The Pet Files is complete and ready for launch. This page will link to the App Store and Google Play listings as soon as they are live.
