Gameplay rules
How does a set work?
Choose a subject, read each question, type the answer in your own words, and ask the app to check it. A set is ten questions by default, but you can change its length.
How are written answers judged?
The app accepts common equivalent answers, reasonable spelling slips, number words or digits, and extra words around the correct answer. It always shows the answer it expected afterward.
What happens when I miss a question?
The correct answer is shown, and the missed question returns to the deck so it can come around again later.
What are Crosstrain and Spot a Friend?
Crosstrain changes subjects from question to question. Spot a Friend lets one or two people answer the same set head to head on one device.
Free pack and unlocks
What is free forever?
The Core Pack includes nine complete categories with no time limit. It is not a trial and never narrows later.
What does The Full App unlock?
One purchase unlocks Crosstrain mode, Spot a Friend Mode, and the Statistics screen. It unlocks features, not additional categories.
How do the expansion packs unlock?
Unlock The Full App first, then Expansion Pack 1, then Expansion Pack 2. Pack 1 adds six categories and Pack 2 adds five. A locked pack tells you which earlier purchase it needs.
Is anything a subscription?
No. The Full App and both expansion packs are one-time purchases. Store-local prices appear before you buy.
Devices and privacy
Which devices can run SynAPPsium?
SynAPPsium is for compatible iPhone, iPad, and Android phones and tablets. The App Store or Google Play listing shows the exact operating-system requirement for your device.
Does answer checking need an internet connection?
No. Questions and typed answers are checked directly on your device, and normal gameplay works offline.
Can two people share one device?
Yes. The app can hold multiple local players with separate progress, and Spot a Friend puts two players into the same set.
Do I need an account?
No. SynAPPsium has no sign-in, advertising, analytics, or trackers. Progress and settings remain on your device.
